To help promote World Aids Day on 1st Dec, Belvedere Vodka released a limited edition (RED) bottle at an exclusive event held at Melbourne venue Alumbra.

To create and produce this event, held on World Aids Day, Event Planet was invited to paint the chosen venue RED to raise awareness and help celebrate a spirits industry partnership between RED, and Belvedere Vodka.

Using red lighting and hundreds of red ribbons hanging from the ceiling and rippling across the dance floor, the entire experience gave a nod to the iconic red World Aids Day ribbon.

Guests were kept refreshed with Belvedere cocktails and entertained as a live model was covered in body paint and transformed into an artistic masterpiece during the night.

Additionally for a spot of fun guests had their photo taken with life sized branded cut out of Grammy award winning musician Usher, who had teamed up with the vodka company for the release of the Special Edition bottle, which raised funds for the charity.

The Result

In conjunction with World Aids Day, guests were stopped for a photo with life size branded Usher cut outs and received a red ribbon to pin to their clothing. Hundreds of lengths of red ribbon were rigged on hoops hung from the ceiling, leading guests to the feature body paint artist. With a trademark Belvedere RED cocktail in hand, guests were able to immerse themselves in red and enjoy a relaxed night in Melbourne’s premium Belvedere venue.

Event Brief

To design and execute the second event in the Infrastructure Australia 2011-2012 Conference Series – Connecting the Dots – Shaping the Future of Infrastructure in Remote Indigenous Communities. To manage an interactive and engaging three day conference program, host delegates from around Australia including community, government and other national stakeholders and speakers from around the world. To host the event in a content relevant and flight accessible regional location.

To create a fresh, fun, social and exciting destination marquee at Paspaley Polo in the City Sydney, where guests could book tickets with groups of friends rather than as part of a corporate marquee. The Clubhouse aimed to offer guests a premium location for field-side action, an all inclusive food and beverage package and relaxed yet cutting edge entertainment.

To use the event opportunity to raise money for Aurora Group, to support gay, lesbian and transgender organisations to benefit communities Australia wide.

The Result

The sun shone, the bubbles flowed, fashion was strutted and the ponies and players performed for the crowds in 5 cities around Australia for Paspaley Polo in the City 2011. The Sydney series heralded the arrival of Event Planet’s brainchild “The Clubhouse”.

In conjunction with our sponsorship and media partner friends at Food Wine Sleep, The Clubhouse welcomed over 200 of Sydney’s pretty young things to an exclusive experience with tiered grandstand seating, enjoying Champagne, rocking DJs, Belinda Franks gourmet catering, and the famous life size Polaroid Pony. Needless to say, the guests were still dancing while the sun set on the polo field!

Plus, the event successfully raised $2,500 for Aurora Group’s charitable activities around Australia.

Event Brief

To create and deliver a national conference series for Fuji Xerox that would reposition the brand as a digital pioneer in the marketplace. The audience included, existing and potential Fuji Xerox clients as well as employees of the company. Part of the content and activities included identifying and announcing new revenue streams from innovative products. The events created a platform for industry leaders to come together to debate and discuss the applications and business models of the future. The collaborative world of the digital community was explored and particularly, how this is rapidly transforming organisations and the roles and functions within them, including the integration of the physical and digital world through document management and digital
workplace services.

Complete event production from concept to design to execution, venue and supplier management, speaker management, stage design and content development and production.

Event Planet designed a revolutionary content display concept with a focus on sustainability and remote access. The event series featured futurist speakers from around the globe, including the world’s top rated futurist speaker, Dr Thomas Frey, appearing via free-format-hologram technology as well as 3-dimensional animations, live speakers and interactive marketing sessions. A strong social media campaign was implemented to broadcast and highlight the
innovative technologies being used in the event series
including a blog, twitter conversations and web
viewing portals.

To produce the Sydney Cricket Ground members events for the second year running; including the Members Breakfast, the 50/70 Year Inductee Event, Daily Stump Sessions and the exclusive Breakfast with the Curator at the wicket.

The Result

Guests were welcomed and entertained in an environment that encapsulated a perfect Australian and Indian cultural mix. Beautiful florals drew inspiration from both of the competing nations. A feature sitar player greeted and entertained guests at the 50/70 Year Inductee Event. An abundance of entertainment was provided by Australian and International cricketing legends and engaging commentators.  It was success and victory all round – for Event Planet and Australia – who could forget Michael Clarke’s 329 runs! Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!
