Vodafone Ashes Series Launch

Event Brief

To design a successful launch of the Vodafone Ashes Series 2011 and mobile TV to the media with the aim of generating consumer interest. Providing a showcase of the new ad campaign and presence of members of the Australian cricket teams as VIP guests, Event Planet was able to create a relaxed and informal atmosphere where members of the media were able to eat and drink while mingling with the Australian cricket team in the lead up to the 2011 Ashes Series. With a cricket pitch doubled as a green carpet entrance, beach balls sporting both the Vodafone and Ashes logos lined the perimeter of the outdoor deck, red and white furniture provided space to take a seat and glass rose bowls overflowing with mini cricket balls, it was truly an evening to celebrate the Ashes Series and the new mobile TV service provided by Vodafone.
